Mission

The Cluster TWIST has several purposes:

• Encourage and facilitate partnerships and synergies between the various actors of the Cluster to promote business development.
• Amplify and promote technological development and innovation leading to the creation and development of new activities or new products.
• Increase the economic benefits for Walloon companies, in particular very small businesses and SMEs.
• Provide access to expertise and information in the fields of Sound, Image and Text to professionals in the sector but also to the general public.
• Raise awareness among the public and specialist circles of the activities of the Cluster and its members.
• Strengthen dialogue with institutions and public authorities (collective requests for the establishment of new aid programs, R & D, infrastructure, training, etc.).

To do this, the Association engages in various activities. Among the latter, we will count:

• The development of information tools listing the various players and other useful information in the Walloon Sound, Image and Text sectors and related sectors.
• Support for offers and requests for partnerships, particularly in Research and Development.
• Representation of Cluster TWIST at sector events at national and international level.
• The organization of scientific days, meeting days between actors and debates conferences, as well as training in the themes relating to the goals of the association.

The Association may in particular lend its assistance and be interested in any way in associations, companies or organizations having aims and activities similar to those of this Association, or which can help to achieve or develop its object. It may incidentally engage in commercial transactions.
