HorSense ASBL is a Belgian association specialised in supporting individuals and teams through horse-assisted coaching, combining an innovative approach with high professional and ethical standards.
The name “HorSense” blends “Horse” and “Sense”, highlighting the importance of intuition, presence, and the deep connection between humans and horses.

Mission and Values

HorSense’s mission is to offer a framework for personal and professional development in which the horse acts as a co-coach and mirror, enabling people to become aware of their inner dynamics, strengths, and areas for growth.

Main Activities

HorSense offers:

• Recognised professional trainings

  • The postgraduate programme “Professional Guidance of People Through Horses” in collaboration with HoWest (University College of Bruges and Kortrijk).
  • A training programme in “Systemic Coaching and Trauma Support with Horses”.

• Workshops and interventions

  • Individual horse-assisted coaching
  • Group and team coaching
  • Support relating to stress, burnout, resilience, or professional reintegration

• A centre for inclusive practices and research

HorSense also works with:

  • young people (in partnership with the King Baudouin Foundation),
  • burn victims (Burn Foundation),
  • people living with cancer.

• A network of certified practitioners
