The Netherlands have a long history regarding subsurface prospection, which has led to the development of geothermal energy projects. Deep geothermal activities have been supported by public initiatives in order to mitigate the risks linked to geologic uncertainties. This webinar has gathered specialists and experts from the Netherlands, in order to give an overview of the development of deep geothermal energy in the Netherlands and public incentives, such as the SCAN program and the NLOG and THERMOGIS tools.
