PEPS (Polymers And 3D Processes) is a collaborative project between 4 Research Centers (CRITT MDTS, ARMINES, IMT Lille Douai in France and CERTECH in Belgium), co-financed by the partners and by the cross-border programs INTERREG V France Wallonie Vlaanderen, the Walloon and Grand Est regions. It aims to boost the cross-border potential of additive manufacturing processes for technical polymers and / or charged polymers.
The work program started just over a year ago. At the end of 2019, the PEPS website https://www.peps-interreg.eu/ was put into operation! We therefore invite you to visit it, if you want to know more, complete the online industrial questionnaire and contact them!

ABOUT PEPS
To boost the cross-border potential of additive manufacturing processes
The objective is to provide a creative approach to develop the potential of our industrial fabric through additive manufacturing processes for technical polymers and / or charged polymers.
Our main ambition is to broaden the possibilities of additive manufacturing processes confined to prototyping in order to orient it towards new industrial applications such as direct and technical manufacturing with optimized mechanical characteristics similar to serial polymer transformation processes. Indeed, the original idea is to increase the supply of materials that can be used in additive manufacturing processes while giving them innovative functionalization.
How ?
-
Develop the different axes of additive manufacturing according to industrial expectations (eg: functionalization, lightening of structures, incorporation of fillers, etc.)
-
Quantify the mechanical properties of thermoplastics according to the type of 3D printing process,
-
Raise awareness and promote the results of PEPS research through seminars and demonstrators.
