10:30 -12:30 : Training GDPR guidelines and Cybersecurity awareness
The goal of this first part is to give you a general overview of the General Data Protection Regulation, more commonly known as the GDPR.
What is the GDPR? You might have heard a lot about GDPR in the last few years and this makes sense, as this is the legal instrument framing the processing of personal data across Europe since its entry into force the 25 May 2018. The idea of this Regulation is to harmonize national regulations in the European Union, in order to ensure an equivalent level of data protection, allow the free flow of personal data in the European Union and finally hold all actors of the processing accountable.
This first part will help you to understand the GDPR and give you the key to efficiently put it in place.
This second part of the workshop will give you an overview of the 3 different part of the Web in order to better understand the environment and then be able to better protect yourself. You probably also wonder how and why hackers get your data? How your data ends up on the dark web? What are the different methods of attack they might use? We will go through all these questions together and finally end with some defensive tips on how to keep yourself safe from cyberattacks.
