Privacy and protection of personal data
The Walloon Public Service has been working since February 2017 to bring the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into compliance.

The data protection policy already in place, in accordance with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy, has therefore been strengthened.

Data Controller

The person responsible for processing personal data relating to this site is Isabelle QUOILIN, General Director of the Public Service of Wallonia Economy Employment Research (SPW EER).

You can, in certain specific cases, rectify or ask to have your data erased, limit or oppose the processing by contacting it at the following postal address: Service Public de Wallonie Economie Emploi Recherche (SPW EER), Place de Wallonie, 1 at 5100 Jambes as well as by email at protectiondesdonnees.dgo6@spw.wallonie.be.

For any other questions, contact the Data Protection Officer, Thomas LEROY, at the following email address: dpo@spw.wallonie.be.

Principles relating to the collection of personal data

In principle, access to the information available on or via the site takes place without having to provide personal data, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, etc.

Exceptionally, in order to obtain additional services (ordering documents, subscribing to a newsletter, questions asked by email or via the 1718, ...), it is possible that personal information, mainly contact details, may be requested from the user. In this case, the user is warned in advance and the data is processed in accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data (GDPR).

Concretely, this means in particular that:

Your personal data can only be collected and processed in accordance with the purposes indicated when they were collected;
You have the right to check whether your data is being processed by the SPW, using the form on the Portail de la Wallonie.
You will have the right to consult your personal data, if necessary, in order to verify their accuracy and to have any errors concerning them corrected with the person in charge of processing your data whose contact details appear above;
The SPW undertakes to take the best security measures to prevent third parties from misusing the personal data that you have communicated.
Use for statistical purposes of information relating to navigation

When you access the site, the servers consulted automatically collect the following data:

the IP address assigned to you when you log in;
the date and time of access to the site;
the pages viewed;
the type of browser used;
the platform and / or the operating system installed on the PC;
the search engine as well as the keywords used to find the downloaded files on the portal site.
This information is only kept for the sole purpose of measuring the number of visitors to the various sections of the portal site and of making improvements. The reports that we draw from it only show anonymized data while the data collected is destroyed.

Use of cookies

In order to facilitate your navigation on the site (save your preferences or avoid having to repeat the same entries on each visit) as well as to optimize the technical management of the site, the Public Service of Wallonia may occasionally be required to use "cookies", most of the time during a visit.

A "cookie" is a small piece of information saved by a website in your computer's Internet browser. This "cookie" can be retrieved during a subsequent visit to the same site. The "cookie" cannot be read by any website other than the one that created it.

None of them contain information that makes you likely to be contacted by phone, email or post. You can also configure your browser to inform you each time a "cookie" is created or to prevent their recording.

Use of electronic mail

The electronic message boxes made available to you are managed by the Corporate Networks Department (081 / 33.39.39 or dre.dgeer@spw.wallonie.be).

The personal data collected following your initial contact will only be used to follow up on your file or to direct you to the information available on public sites or to the competent services of the administration. Messages of a political nature are redirected to the sites of the Government or the functional Minister.

Messages are answered within two working days except for requests which cannot be answered directly on a public website.
