Institutions of the sector

The equestrian sector relies on various bodies which ensure its smooth functionning. Discover here the institutions which are members of EquisFair.

• The Association Wallonne de Tourisme Équestre (Walloon Association of Equestrian Tourism) unites equestrian gites and connects them thanks to itineraries made for riders with options for carriage drivers.

• The École Provinciale d'Élevage et d'Équitation de Gesves (Provincial Horse Riding and Breeding School of Gesves) offers training to horse-related occupations, in full immersion, in order for students to be fully acquainted with the professional equestrian world.

• The Fédération Francophone d'Équitation et d'Attelage (Francophone Horse Riding and Driving Federation) unites all "horses" lovers : riders and drivers, amateurs and professionals, all in a philosophy of respect and sharing.

• The Ligue Équestre Wallonie-Bruxelles (Wallonia - Brussels Equestrian League) manages all equestrian sports, from leisure riders to World, Olympic and Paralympic Champions. It is the only equestrian federation recognised by the General Sports Administration of the Wallonia-Brussels Sports Ministry. Created on September 1st, 2000, it is the French-speaking wing of FRBSE.
