ESSENSCIA WALLONIE

Essenscia Wallonia is the regional division of the Belgian federation of chemical industries and life sciences. The organization defends the specific interests of more than 200 Walloon companies active in chemicals, plastics, pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies. The sector is one of the most important industrial sectors in Wallonia, representing a quarter of industrial turnover and almost a quarter of added value. The sector is also the champion of Walloon exports and innovations with more than 40% of total exports and two-thirds of total private expenditure on research and development.

Essenscia Wallonia offers its member companies expertise, advice and tailor-made services for regional themes and skills. The federation is also the spokesperson for the sector in the media and defends the interests of chemicals, plastics and life sciences at all political levels.
