Haras de Bernister

Haras de Bernister, situated on the edge of the forest, is a private family stable where passion and respect are at the heart of our values.

The stud is particularly well equipped, with a magnificent indoor arena, a vast outdoor arena and a spacious round pen. These facilities provide ideal training conditions, whatever the weather in the Ardennes.

Horses are social animals, and their well-being depends to a large extent on their ability to interact with other horses. Paddocks and meadows are available to meet this need.

We specialise in breaking in and developing young horses. Trained in ethology, we apply this knowledge on a daily basis to ensure respectful and harmonious development. Our caring, methodical approach ensures the well-being of the horses while optimising their performance. Each horse benefits from personalised, tailored training.

The stud is diversifying its activities, specialising in the breeding and sale of young horses, mainly for showjumping. We are delighted to see our first foals starting their breaking-in, ready to be trained for future competitions.
