Job description

The successful candidate will assist with the monitoring and management of construction and operation of wind and solar energy projects:

  • Construction – mainly delegated project management
  • Basic engineering and project management;
  • Negotiation of agreements with various construction providers, grid operator and aggregator; Conformity of wind turbines with grid connection agreements (Grid Code Compliance)
  • Coordination of suppliers on site;
  • Site inspection;
  • Acceptance of the works and monitoring during warranty period.
  • Operation
  • Analysis and monitoring of plant performance with reporting;
  • Technical monitoring of the supplier's turbine maintenance services (full service omnium);
  • Management of and coordination of the various parties: plant owner, land owners/tenant, grid operator, local administration, etc.;
  • Management of plant security;
  • Operation of the plant with, among others, management of the aggregator; Implementation of compensation measures.
  • Technical analysis of wind projects among others on wind and acoustic aspects

The successful candidate will initially work under supervision of more senior colleagues but will gradually become responsible for certain aspects of the work. The successful candidate will work within a team but a certain autonomy is expected.

Profile

  • Entry level position: 0 to 3 years of experience
  • Civil engineer with electrical, electro-mechanic or construction background;
  • Specific skills:
  • Knowledge of French and English (knowledge of an additional language will be a plus); o IT skills: Microsoft, AutoCad, MSProject, etc.
  • Driving license (for site inspections).
