Principle Power downsizes Oregon offshore wind pilot

Principle Power has downsized its WindFloat Pacific pilot project off the coast of Oregon from 30MW to no more than 24MW, and has asked the US Energy Department (DOE) for a one-year extension until the end of 2018 to meet milestones it set for the developer to receive all $46.7m in earlier announced funding, Recharge learns.
