DOE to decide 'early fall' on US offshore wind demo project funding

The US Department of Energy aims to decide early this fall on whether to give three public/private consortia more time to meet four “critical” requirements it set for them to receive up to $46.7m each to deploy advanced technology offshore wind technology projects, a senior DOE official says.
