The INFOPOLE Cluster TIC, is positioned in the logic of clusters. In this context, it aims to bring together the academic and industrial expertises to form a pole of excellence in information and communication technologies.

INFOPOLE Cluster TIC , non-profit organization , was born out of two networks dedicated to ICT: INFOPOLE IS and ICT Cluster , whose respective founders are FUNDP and BEP for the first and Agoria for the second.

The INFOPOLE now has more than 130 members, representing more than 7,200 jobs and some 460 million annual sales. They all share a recognized know-how in the digital business, either as suppliers and developers of innovative technologies (digital sector) or as users of these technologies (digital economy).

As a cross-cutting cluster, INFOPOLE is therefore aimed at several categories of members:

  • digital solution providers
  • research centers and academic research units specializing in digital
  • digital skills and training centers
  • SMEs and industries from all sectors developing or using digital solutions


A business accelerator

Through this mobilization of skills, INFOPOLE Cluster TIC aims to enhance the available regional expertises and to strengthen their positioning at local, regional, national and International levels .

Improve the visibility and attractiveness of the sector , strengthen its dynamic of development , c apitalize the expertise from the research and open the doors of international development are all objectives of the INFOPOLE Cluster TIC contributing especially to stem the " brain drain" out of Wallonia.
