To improve the use of ICT in road transports and the logistic
Nine French and Walloons partners work together on new services that may be developed through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the transport of the future.
This project is funded for a period of four years by the Fond Européen de Développement Régional (FEDER) under the Interreg IVA program of cross-border cooperation. This program focuses on economic development and innovation support under Lisbon agreements. The Regional Council of Champagne-Ardenne, the General Council of the Ardennes and the Walloon Region also contribute the financing of "Connect to All".
The purpose of cooperation is the realization of a tool available to carriers to optimize communication between embedded devices and ensure a better flow of information inside and outside the vehicle. The system will provide fleet managers possibilites to use relevant information and to anticipate security problems. This initiative will enable a optimal use of available technologies, the removal of duplications of functions and limit the waste of hardware and software resources.
