Mission

The basic mission of any cluster is the networking of industrial or commercial businesses.

This cluster is mainly centred on a trans-sectoral approach promoting the networking between various actors of the sector: architects, builders, materials suppliers, businesses active in the renewable energy field …

Given the current situation, the techniques and materials complexity, the market's requirements, the stakes linked to technologic innovation require that the sector operators collaborate within alliances and partnerships between the various specialised businesses or between businesses and research centres/universities/ des centres of competences…

The cluster's mission rests essentially on 9 principles proposed within the framework of the Walloon policy of clustering.

In order to fulfil this mission, the cluster organises various activities, such as:

- the organisation of meetings between the members to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and confidence;

- the promotion of the exchange of information between the various actors (instructing parties, clients, suppliers, architects, builders …);

- to ensure a link between public and private operators;

- the development of a common vision of green building and to put forward the « best practices » of the sector;

- the search and optimisation of complementarities between businesses and/or research institutions;

- to trigger the emergence of innovative products and new activities;

- the promotion of the development and perenniality of the companies;

- the promotion of exportation.
