General presentation

The activities of the Research Group on Transport (GRT) focus on three main orientations:

- Modelling: developing new network models, studying traffic, impact assessment…
- Surveys and data analysis: the first national survey in Belgium on households' behaviour in terms of mobility, surveys on transport in Europe, data processing, validation and correction, www interface for remote statistical requests…
- Softwares and technologies: software development (simulators, traffic management software…), surveys on GPS use.

We also offer trainings for mathematics students: “Introduction to mathematic modelling for transport”. Conferences and seminars open to everyone.
